What is Botox?

MINTS are made from Biodegradable Polydioaxanon (PDO) threads, there are tiny barbs or hooks along the thread, and are dissolvable by your body. They are approved by the FDA, are less prone to infections and breakage, and have been used for the last 30 years in the field of Urology, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, and Gastroenterology.

MINT™ PDO thread is a minimally invasive procedure. With patented barbs strategically placed and molded all around the thread, the skin tissues are pulled into place and the barbs anchor onto sagging skin. The threads can also be maneuvered to achieve a naturally youthful and defined look.

How does Threadlifts work?

Threadlifts work by incorporating two mechanisms – tightening of the skin by pulling on the MINTS and the subsequent production of collagen.

After local anaesthesia, MINTS are inserted via a cannula into your skin where the barbed hooks grab onto your existing tissues and muscles.
The threads are then tightened.
This gives your saggy skin a taut and smooth appearance, thereby replicating the skin of your youth before gravity took a toll.
Once the hooked barbs grip onto your existing tissues and muscles, it replicates injury to your skin, which in turn results in the production of collagen.
